“Sex in Heaven? Traditionalists, Utopians, and Reformers on the Afterlife and Sexual Ethics” with Richard W. McCarty

Dr. Richard W. McCarty will offer a presentation from his new book, *Under the Bed of Heaven: Christian Eschatology and Sexual Ethics* (SUNY Press, 2022). He will explore how visions of sex in heaven have been a part of a wide variety of religious teachings—from traditionalists to utopians, and now contemporary reformers. Dr. McCarty will then explore how these beliefs about heaven can (and do) shape concepts about sexual ethics on earth.
