A: We respect our authors’ privacy, and as a rule, don’t release their addresses. E-mail requests will be forwarded to the author if we have an e-mail address on file. Otherwise, you can send a letter to the author in care of SUNY Press at our editorial office, and we will forward it.

A: Media Mail (7–10 days average) – United States: First book $6.00 and $1.00 for each additional copy.
UPS Ground (3–7 days average) – United States: First book $8.00 and $1.00 for each additional copy.
Canada and International (6–8 weeks average) – First book $8.00 (U.S.) and $6.00 for each additional copy.

A: Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system. Credit card transactions are handled by a third-party financial institution, which receives the credit card number and other personal identifying information in order to verify the credit card number and process the transaction.

Q: How do I place an order and have it shipped elsewhere?
A: The Press uses Authorize.net to process all credit cards. We have fraud alert filters in place that will be triggered if the billing address does not match the address on file with the bank. When you place an order and wish to ship it elsewhere you must remember to enter your billing address, otherwise the Delivery address will be used as the Billing address, your transaction will trigger the filter and subsequently be denied. In order to enter a billing address for orders that are being Delivered to addresses that do not match the address associated with your credit card, check the box at the bottom of the Delivery address section and enter the billing address associated with the credit card.
