Julius A. Elias is Professor of Philosophy and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Among his publications are critical editions of Schiller's Naive and Sentimental Poetry and On the Sublime. Elias was Managing Editor of the Journal of the History of Ideas from 1969 to 1974.
