Walking Workshop: All the Affordances Exercise

In this one hour walking workshop, we’ll participate in an exercise, “All of the Affordances,” from Ellen Mueller’s forthcoming book, Walking as Artistic Practice. We will familiarize ourselves with the walking spaces around the Phipps and practice close looking to find all the possible uses (intended or not) of these spaces. This type of walking is playful, reflective, and invites photography, and writing to share with the group as we slowly walk and are inspired by a specific place and time. $5 registration.
